About
Good songs. Fewer arguments about what’s next.
Aux Roulette helps you find the next song when nobody wants to make the decision.
Explore one shared, human-curated collection in four ways:
- Song Roulette picks one song by genre, decade, vibe, or occasion—or from the whole collection.
- Create a Queue lets you collect requests and arrange what comes next.
- Build a Set generates up to 50 songs using your filters.
- Playlists offers ready-made mixes and whole category collections, with public Spotify playlist links where available.
We preserve recording details and exact provider links, including distinct originals, remixes, and flips. Categories reflect editorial choices rather than official classifications by artists or music services.
No visitor account required
You don’t need an Aux Roulette account to pick songs, build a set, or assemble a queue.
Recent picks, generated sets, your queue and selected mode are remembered in your current browser session. Category favorites, sound preferences and acceptance of the Terms can be remembered between visits.
Your sets and queue stay on Aux Roulette. Optional Connect Spotify lets approved Spotify test accounts search Spotify and choose Create private playlist to save a queue to their account. Nothing is exported automatically, and the connection does not read your personal library or control playback.
Where the music lives
Song links open songs on their respective music services. Availability depends on the service, your location, your account, and the particular song or version.
A recommendation does not grant permission to use music in livestreams, videos, public performances, or other productions.
Meet the hosts
Riff and Jinx—collectively Loose Connections—are our fictional mascot duo. Their biographies, releases, and music-scene controversies are invented. The songs in the picker are real.
